First night with a CPAP but at the clinic

Post by sheldons65 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 8:37 pm

Takes a little getting used to but it will certainly be a lot easier in my own bed and without all the hook-ups.

What's cool is that I went to sleep about 10:30AM last night and woke up at 4:30AM all ready to go like I'd had a full nights sleep better than I can remember.

I had a similar experience when they were finally able to come up with a titration that worked for me. Prior to this I would be up every 90 minutes, and woke up more tired than when I went to bed. In the sleep lab, I went lights out at 10 PM, was sleeping by 10:20. They woke me up a little while later, and said that they were ending the sleep study. I was very confused. I thought it was about 11:45 or right around midnight. I asked why they were ending so early. The sleep tech told me it was 7:30 AM. I was totally astounded. I hadn't gotten up once. It was so nice to feel awake after having been foggy for several years.
