BreatheX wrap around portable Cpap

Post by Artreyman » Wed Mar 25, 2009 9:56 am

has anyone tried this cpap machine made by Hoffman laboratories.
I purchased one recently and it works fine. But I was emailed by someone else that told me that it was discontinued due to them catching fires and burning people. I searched the internet and couldnt find anything supporthing this statement anywhere. Anyone have a clue about this item?

Haven't heard anything like what you mentioned.

CPAP.COM has them, too. There are also two user reviews on the page in this link.

How do you know what pressure this machine is suppling? I don't see a pressure readout on the display. How do you change the pressure?

on the BreatheX the book is supplied. and it shows you how to change the setting on it. It also has a ramp setting and displays the hour usage as well as altitude setting incase you are up in the hills.

Not at all. They were sold to Cardinal Health and they decided to discontinue the line.
