I got my new machine and mask!

Post by mazsdps » Thu Mar 19, 2009 8:27 am

I finally received my new cpap and mask two days ago. I ended up getting the M Series Auto CPAP Machine with C-Flex. I don't know if I'm just going blind or what, but I can't find where the smart card is. If anyone has one of these machines and it has a smart card can you tell me where it's at? As for my mask I got the Swift LT for Ladies. I'm so glad they finally have made headgear for us women! I used a Swift LT before but the headgear was way too big and it made it very uncomfortable. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me with the smart card!

When I got my Mseries the card was not installed in the machine. It was in with the packaging. I almost threw it out. If it is not in the machine (the slot is on the upper right on the side as you look head on at the machine) I hope you still have the packaging. If you didn't receive the card call your DME and let them know it was not included. They should get you another one.

Good luck

I forgot to change the machine that is showing on the bottom of my post. That's my old one.
This is the one I just got: https://www.cpap.com/cpap-machine/remst ... -flex.html
I looked all over the machine and can't find a place for the card. I guess I'm going to have to call and see where it is or if there is one.

Hi folks,
I just today!! got my new machine AND battery pack (power goes out a lot up here in Eastern Canada) and I am so excited to try it tonight. I had been borrowing an antique and this looks wonderful. I chose the Auto M-Series BiPap machine. I'll let you all know how it went over the next fews nights. I've just been back to work for over a month and haven't been on line much but I miss you all! Take care.

Hello Angie, the Smart card holder has to be added. If you look on the right side you may see a cover that is where the slot should be. The cover gets removed then the smart card writer goes there.

Hi Angie,
The Smart Card goes in at the rear of the machine, while looking at the front of the machine, it's on the back right side, or the left side if the back of the machine is facing you, it's right next to the air filter and there is a slot that runs up and down, just slide it , I know, I had the same problem, lol...

I hope you know it's illegal for men to wear that unless you get a prescription. A crime that's even worse than changing the pressure on your blower. Just FYI...

Hey Shark.... why does the Smartcard have that little hole at the top? It's not like you're gonna thumbtack it to the wall or wear it on a chain around your neck...

Is it so it won't overflow? Let's the old data leak out?

I think the school janitors of the future will be walking around with a big old key chain full of smart cards that they can use to open doors and reprogram robots and such...

The headgear is a lot smaller than the regular one. That's the difference that I see in it. It's also a light blue color and some kind of design on it. It came with covers for the part that sits on your cheeks which is a lot better. It's a lot more comfortable than the regular one. I can now sleep with it on all night. Before I would take it off in the middle of the night.

I can handle the answer to why it has a hole in it. It is for a string with a little bead on the string so you can get the da*m thing out in the morning because they put it on the back side to make it so easy for us to get to unless you only take it out once a month.
