Newbie in NC

Post by tjk55 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 2:48 pm

Hi Everyone

After being diagnosed Feb 12 2009 with severe OSA I was a bit overwhelmed. I turned to the internet and found this site.
I want to thank you all for assembling some of the best information I have found so far.
I was able to start this process in the right frame of mind and navigate through with not much trouble.
The info I read here about the DME's was absolutely correct. (they lied to me from the very first conversation)
I started my therapy on thursday March 12 so tonight will be my fifth nite. It was fairly easy when you know what to expect.
No one else seems to care about your health and comfort.

I have a question, does anyone have or know where I can get the clinicians manuel for the ResMed S8 Autoset II in a PDF format or any form for that matter? (No matter how I tried I could not get the DME to give it up.)

Thank you,
Tim

Hello, tjk55! Welcome to CPAPtalk.com.

Glad to hear you were prepared and are coping well with your therapy because of the good advice from the forum. That's what it's here for.

I don't have the clinician's manual, but you might send a personal message to Paul56. I know he had it in PDF at one time and offered it to another forum member. See below:
If anyone wants the "S8 AutoSet II System Clinical Guide" in PDF format... send me a PM with your email address and I will oblige.

My copy is PDF, English, 63 pages long and jammed packed with good information.
Good luck

Kind'a makes you wonder if they do this only to OSA patients because they know we have damaged brain cells or if they do this because they see corporate CEOs and politicians get away with it every day and feel they can do the same thing.

I'm sure someone will PM you with a PDF offer. I may have a copy of the older Autoset model (should be very similar to the Autoset II manual) on my old windoze PC. I'll check when I get home.

BTW - nice woodworking shop you got there
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Wow...so many NC peeps! My daughter lives in Ashboro. How does that state make room for all you guys and your equipment?

Welcome Tim!

Welcome Tim!
The equipment is no problem. It's all the Yankees moving down here that's a problem.
