after reading both links , thanks to ainsle14 and RipVW, I agree with sharperjudy, this reads too good so why isn't the list of users huge? Is it the price or is there a disadvantage to using it?

seems to me that it would solve a lot of problems to do with strap marks, sore noses, mask leaks etc.
also if you didn't open your mouth to breathe but rather just your lips and air escaped wouldn't that not happen because the mouthpiece would block the air trying to escape?

It's not all that expensive (of course, I buy my own stuff without insurance...).

But without it being a respected mask manufacturer I am concerned that someone might have taken a good concept and then threw a piece of junk together that only worked for a week or two...

SharkBait perhaps if rustynail is still around they could let us know if this mask lasted, as their post was 2005.
Not all things that don't have 'the ' name tag are junk.
this could be one.

True dat.

I hope someone else chimes in here. I would love for this to be a viable, working product and if so I'll sure shell out what they're asking.

I followed some of Rested Gal's links and I think I've seen enough...

There's talk of trying someone else's that they threw in a drawer. Unless you can re-boil and bite, that would be pointless...

And I didn't mean to imply that only "the bigs" can manufacture a quality product, but they are putting their name on the line and perhaps are less likely to produce what it looks like these guys have produced... a piece of junk. I'm quite certain these guys took a great idea and got rich off of it without doing the necessary R&D to actually implement that idea into a usable product. That's a shame.
