Is it worth taking the humidifier part to use in passover mode or will it just be wasted space and excess weight for 18 days on a Grand Canyon river trip? I expect the nights will be in the 50s.
Any & all input welcome,
Thanks!

M-Series humidifier in passover mode?
Re: M-Series humidifier in passover mode?
If I run mine in passover mode, the water in the tank only goes down a tiny amount overnight. How about your case? I would leave mine at home.

It is dry there. Take it with you.

I would consider taking it with because it will be dry out there. But if you do take it with you, make sure you dry it out before packing it away. Better yet pack the water chamber separately from the machine so you don't get any moisture in the blower.

My question is: How you plan to power your equipment? 18 days is a long time. Batteries, generator, 110? If power is no problem the extra weight should not be a problem.ColoZZZ wrote:Is it worth taking the humidifier part to use in passover mode or will it just be wasted space and excess weight for 18 days on a Grand Canyon river trip?
