A Friend has a intellipap auto that he's not using anymore, and he's offered to let me have it. (i've been using a PB Goodknight 420G for several years).
I have a couple questions though. the one time I tried to use this machine, it stayed at 4cm of pressure the whole time. i even tried to hold my breath thinking that it would kick up (max is set to 20), but it never changed. Is there something wrong witht that machine?
Also, If i were to get it, does anyone know how i can change the pressure? My prescription is for 10cm of pressure, and if it doesn't autoramp up when i have an apnea, I'm left wondering what is the purpose of this machine?
Thanks to any light that can be shed on this for me.

Are you sure it's an Intellipap AUTO and not a Intellipap that is a straight cpap set at 4 cm? or an auto set in cpap mode? I just thought of that when you said it stays at 4.
A setting of 4 cm does seem low but it is behaving like a straight cpap or an auto set in cpap mode. You did say the maximum is set at 20 though. It's just a thought.
