I am using the optilife nasal pillow mask. It is really having an impact on my hairline! What suggestions do you have?

I'm not sure how it would affect your hairline, but could you try wearing a cap or bandana on your head?

Trying to figure how/why this headgear would affect your hairline:

I use an Opus 360.

I can tell you that time got to my hairline before the Opus did, but I think the headgear is changing the shape of my skull. Not sure if that's possible, but it certainly feels that way.

Perhaps hairline has already receded back to area of strap across the top of head? If so, don't worry about it.

You could try Padacheeks on the headgear. The padacheeks will cushion the straps and keep them from pulling on the hair. You can go to http://www.padacheek.com and check out her website or just PM PADACHEEK, she is a forum member and always willing to take the time to help.
