(The Hybrid vents are right above where the hose connects, so running the hose up over your head instead of down makes for very loud venting.) The picture and wording for the CozyHoze Boss appear (to me) to show it works best when the hose is going up over your head.

Pam,
How do you now manage your hose with the Hybrid mask?
I let mine enter under the covers at navel level, run over to the navel, and then up to the mask. I can roll to either side or back without problems. This has the added advantage of heating the hose by body heat and I have never had rainout problem in my cold and heatless bedroom.
Placing the hose overhead seems like a big distraction to sleep.
Regards,
I have the Aussie heated hose, then 2 feet of covered regular hose between the heated hose and the mask (I needed more than 6 feet because the machine is not right next to the bed). Currently, it runs from the shelf on the other side of the nightstand, behind the nightstand, through a little velcro loop on my headboard, and then down beside my pillow and comes on top of blankets a little above my waist. (The nightstand is too high for the machine to be below the top of the mattress, so I had to come up with somewhere else to put it that was lower, without resorting to floor.) I messed with it today, fixing it so it would run overhead, and for me, it caused even more leaks in the chin area, and it was too noisy that way (I'm not sensitive to blue lights when I'm trying to sleep, but I am sensitive to noise ).
I was toying with the idea of an overhead setup because quite often when I bend my head certain ways, it pushes the hose into my chest, which pushes on the mask, causing the mask to leak some in the bottom part of the mask. Changing positions isn't really an issue, just the leak thing, and it's really not that big a deal. (I just sleep weird, that's all. ) I actually tried a small oral cushion today, and think that MIGHT actually work better than the medium I've been using. I'll see tonight!
