I am a roadie and ride bicycles on the highways and roads in my area. Since there is a danger of being hit by a vehicle I have a RoadID bracelet with with wife's and son's cell numbers, NKA (for no known allergies), NKDA (for no known drug allergies), my address, and that I have sleep apnea. I won't ride my bike without the bracelet.

I don't wear a bracelet-- I wear a "dog tag" instead. It's stainless steel and engraved on both sides it was really cheap to make. Here's the info on the tag: Name, address, phone, DOB, Diabetic, High BP, Lens implant, med list in wallet, doctors phone number.

Hubby's has his Medic Alert ID number, and I have his informatin on that also, but I"m also making him a USB flash drive to carry in his pocket with all his medical information on it. I'll be setting one up for myself also, and the tags will be re-engraved to reflect to look for that USB key ...CPAP info will be on both.

I'd need one I could list all my med's on and medical problems, and who to call and how deep to bury me. To get all that on a ID Bracelet I'd need more space, I'd probable have to go for full body armor instead. Jim

My medic alert dog tag has what medical conditions I have on it. Also what drugs I am allergic to. At the bottom it says Call Medic Alert.
At Medic Alert they have all of my medical conditions and that I have OSA and what type of Bipap Machine and the setting of my machine.

Why do you think my Medic Alert Dog tag says to call Medic Alert
When I was diagnosed with a condition I had the secretary where I worked got me a Medic Alert bracelet as a Christmas present that year.
Sure miss her she died at a very young age a few years ago.

JUST a NOTE:
All Most all hospitals & Dr's offices will NOT put a FLASH / Thumb drive in any of their computers -- Due to possible law suits & Viruses..
Everybody's INFO changes almost every time they visit a Dr.! -SO- I recommend EVERYBODY get a copy of the FREE Card they can change daily if they want!
http://www.medids.com/free-id.php

----------- It's FREE and you can PRINT as many as you want & as often as you want -------

I have a copy of my wife's and my own in my wallet also a copies on CPAP equipment ---- It has already SAVED my BUT and made filling in all the FORM required when you show up at an EMERGENCY ROOM. If you are in an ACCIDENT the MEDICS would love to have the INFO on the card for every person they have to HANDLE .............
