Sleep Log?

Post by Bets » Wed Jan 21, 2009 6:54 am

I want to keep track of how much I am sleeping/using CPAP each night (I do not yet have a data capable machine) - I can create a chart/log, but thought I would see if there is one out there already. Does anyone have one that they like?

Bets, I created my own using Excel.
I log:
date
mask
leak rate
AHI
Min/Max pressure
Avg. time/apnea A H
Daily Usage

It really helps when you are getting things adjusted.

I said that.

Bets, until you do get a data capable machine and just want to track how you are sleeping...

Time to bed
Time to sleep
Number of awakenings and length of time
Wake up time in A.M.

While it is good to be able to monitor your progress, and timing of wakeups can help pinpoint problems, just a word of caution. Don't let trying to tune in to the info for the sleep log cause your wakeups to be more wide awake or longer than they would have. It's fine in the morning to just note about how many times you remember waking up. Hopefully wakeups won't be much of a problem for you.

Thanks, y'all - I'll create one with the important info for now - I was just so pleased this morning that I slept from lights out till alarm clock - and kept the mask on all night - and realized that I want to be able to track this info - and I love making charts/graphs, so it will not be a problem to put something together.
