It depends on the clinical settings. I received my APAP two days ago. The first night session only recorded hours used. I had to go into the clinical settings in order to get it to record mask leakage, AHI etc. Look through this forum for more information, I did and will.

The Elite collects the data on your number of apenas and hypopneas per hour, your leak rate, your pressure thru out the night, the number of hours you used it that night, the number of nights since you started using it, the number of nights you've actually used it and the total number of hours used since the Elite was set up and turned on.

If the advanced/detailed patient menu access has been turned on you can access that data each morning before noon on the LCD screen. These CPAPs run on a 24 hours, noon to noon, internal clock. At noon that night's data is rolled over into the total averages and is no longer available via the LCD screen.

The reported Pressure and Leak rates are the rates AT OR BELOW which you spent 95% of the night.

If access to the Efficacy Data has been turned on, just press the Left and Right buttons and hold for 3-4 seconds (BEFORE noon). Efficacy Data should appear. From then on in it is a matter of Left Button to Enter, Right button to Exit, Up button to return to the previous page, Down button to proceed to the next page. You can NOT accidentally or intentionally alter your therapy settings from this advanced/detailed patient menu so don't worry about that.

If access to the detailed/advanced patient menu has not been turned on ask you local DME supplier's RT to turn it on or ask your sleep doctor to write an order (script) for that access to be granted. Good luck. Enjoy! You've got a great CPAP there. You're fortunate, many get a CPAP nto capable of any data at all or just compliance data.
