New Mask Question/comment

I went and got my new mask, After over an hour in trying to select, I went away from the full face and went went with a Mirage Swift LT and new stlye of chin strap. What can I say wow 2 nights and talk about light and feeling like nothing there. It was awesome. Used 2 nights and night one showed .00 leak and night 2 was .02 with both nights over 7 hours of sleep. The only question I have is anyone that has this mask I have noticed a little whistling in the nose when I exhale. It is not real bad but it is there, anyone else had this and what have you done?

Hello & Welcome, Vulcan_Rider! Glad you found this forum--SO much useful info and SO many helpful people here!

Don't know about that whistling sound--the only time I've had such sound from my UMFF mask was when a little moisture/water is in the exhaust holes, and I just stop the holes momentarily with my finger and the moisture blows out when I remove my finger. Good luck!

I have some whistling with my LT pillow as the pressure is ramping up. After I'm at my prescribed pressure I'm able to adjust the pillow to make the whistling stop. Usually I pull the pillow away from my nose (just a little bit and let it reseat itself. That usually takes care of the noise for me.
