Blue Cross

Anyone know what the replacement schedule for Blue Cross is -- what they will pay for and when? I'm most interested in replacing mask cushions.

My BCBS uses the same replacement schedule as Medicare. Masks without headgear at 3 months, Masks with headgear at 6 months. Mask cushions every 30 days.

The big problem I have found is that most DME's in my area won't stock or sell the mask without the headgear and do not stock or sell the cushion seperately. I am on a 6 month replacement schedule because of supply problems.

I am having the very same problem. They are just not stocking the parts, just the full mask with headgear. I just spent my lunch hour at a different DME close to where I work. The staff was very helpful, friendly and supportive of my efforts. I broke that little connector piece AGAIN on my Liberty mask. Although I am not a regular customer, they did give me a used connector. They suggested I contact my DME to request a replacement mask.

Yeah, I have the problem with the cushions as well. Doesn't seem right to me.
