I recently got a prescription for this nasal spray stuff from the VA and wow. This has been life changing. It ended, at least for now, any and all congestion problems that have plagued me for probably all of my life. I am breathing easier all day and at night now wake up only once to pee and that's it. I've researched the product on the web and it would appear that there are no problems with it for long term use.
