There's nothing "supposed to" about it.

It definitely does run fine on Vista, both x86 and x64 versions, as I have been using it for over a year.

Hi All

Sorry for the delay - busy day at the saltmine, and only just got up for air (its 10.47pm, should be in bed!)

Anyway, here's the link for the 3.7 download.

As for legality - they gave it to me, so I reckon I can give it to you. The packet the disk came in wasn't sealed, I haven't signed a licence agreement. And if they get a bit shitty, stiff.

Good luck with this

Cheers

Sorry for the delay

Ok, I'll be the village idiot (a job I do quite well, incidentally). What is software needed for? I plug in my CPAP machine, hit the appropriate button and it works. I'm guessing that software is for a far more intricate machine than I have.

I'm all for the free exchange of information. I'm all for getting scanned copies of manuals that are shipped with our machines but are removed my DME prior to giving to us.....especially when DME doesn't bother to read the manual so they can convey the info to us....

If you are ok in sharing software in a way that may well be violating copyright......that's on you.

But an open link on CPAPTalk seems to get them in the mix of something seemingly illegal....

This doesn't seem right.....

Like the haxx0rz say ... information wants to be free. I'd say that is pretty much in line with the spirit of this forum.

Does anyone know if it is necessary to use a proprietary ResMed smart card reader to read the data cards? Would any smart card reader that fit the cards work?

For some reason known only to Resmed, it is a proprietary format, so as best I know you have to use their reader.

Perhaps some smart IT guy can build an interface

Go up to the Search function and do a search on "ACR38". There will be quite a few links that will be found.
