Hello everyone. I am posting here to thank everyone for the information that is listed on this site.
I am an new cpap user. It has had a great affect on my sleep. According to my doctor, I am not the poster child for sleep apnea, however I had the symptoms. Now that I am on a CPAP system, I feel much better. I recently went with a fixed cpap, however I requested an apap and was able to obtain one. My fixed setting was 70 mm H2O. With my Apap unit, I sleep even better. I noticed that the pressure (90%) is slightly higher (80-90 mm H2O). Thanks to the board, I was able to set my low setting on the APAP to 70 mm H2O rather than 50 mm H2O. At 50 mm H2O I was feeling like I was not able to breath very well.
I just wanted to say thank you.
new and lots of thanks.

Just to translate in case somebody's reading this that can't follow it...

Oops. Sorry about confusing with the mm vs cm thing. I always thought mm makes more sense to me than cm. Rule of 1000's = mm, m, km, mg, g , kg, etc...
Ahh...but Again I am just glad to be using the CPAP equipment and seeing an improvement.

many of us are "metric" challenged
We have this cube paperweight - these are on it
Metric Maxims
"The meter measures 3 foot 3 - it's longer than a yard you see.
A miss is as good at 1.6 kilometers
A pint is a pound the world around but a liter is a kilogram when you are in a metric jam.
I love you 35.2 liters and 8.8 liters.
First down and 9.1 meters to go.
Every 2.5 centimeters a king.
28.3 grams of prevention are worth .453 kilograms of cure.
Give him 2.5 centimeters and he will take 1609 meters.
More bounce to the 28.3 grams.
He demanded his .453 kilograms of flesh.
155 centimeters, eyes of blue ........
