OMG - what a night!!!

Post by skittles » Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:03 am

I kept dreaming that I was suffocating and could not whip off that mask fast enough -- I know that I was not suffocating, but it seemed so real I would actually take a deep breath when the mask came off. Weird - unfortunately I kept it off after the third time, and started snoring and ran my husband out of the room.

I know, I know, I was a bad girl for taking it off, but my sinuses were so clogged I could not breath through my nose, and the FFM was my only other alternative, but the dream would not go away.

Hopefully tonight I can get some sleep

Take Care

The dream sounds weird .

If it's of any consolation, I've been sick for 3 days now of bronchitis, and I can't even lie down without
having problems to breathe. It feels like my lungs and windpipe were almost full of stuff.

I got new pressure settings and I got to sleep 3 nights with them before using the sleep turbo became impossible.

I have good luck with Zicam Intense Sinus Relief before bed.
Another thing that cuts mucous in the herb Cayenne Pepper. But take it with food as it can upset your stomach.

Hey Skittles,
I had that exact same dream and took off my mask also. I was so freaked out I had to go back and try a different mask.

Man, I did that for 5 days last winter. I was homicidal with lack of sleep. Go scream at your doctor and get DRUGS!!!!!!!

Hugs,

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

The only thing you need is good nasal therapy. Nasacort, Rinocort or equivalent will do just fine. I get the same thing every once in a while and have learned what to do depending on how i feel prior to going to sleep. Good luck!
