First Night With FFM

Hello All !

Well I received my Quattro ffm yesterday and slept last night with it. Everything was going fine until about 3AM when it started to leak on the lower left side just above the jaw.

Kept adjusting with movment of the mask, and finally adjusted the lower strap. Seemed to have worked. I really think I would sllep thru the night if the leaks were under control.

Will try again tonight. (P.S. I went to sleep about 11 PM so I guess I got about 4 hrs. straight sleep.)

The Quattro has a lot of possible adjustments. Getting just the right mix for your face can take a bit of trial and error but once it's set properly, it should be 99% leak free IMHO. The trap I fell into was getting the straps too tight. That did seal the leaks but gave me a sore nose bridge. The mask should sit lightly on the soft seal all the way around your face. I sleep on my side with the mask right against (and into) my pillow so I know the Quattro can seal well.

I have used it for about a week. I wake up to the same leak as the OP - tightening is not the answer for me - pausing the machine and reseating the mask works wonders for me - lets the seal re-seat itself. I LOVE the way the mask floats on it's seal. The blue gel mask feels great when you put it on but the quattro is much nicer at 3AM.
