Hi there,
You have all been so helpful in the past: hope you can help me this time. I am using a Breeze mask. With some homemade adjustments, it is okay, not great, but okay. Kinda like wearing a hat on a stormy day; one strong wind and its gone! But anyway, seems that I am now developing strange symptoms. Am experiencing burping, gassy stomach, and strong hunger type feelings in my stomach that are not from my absent gallbladder. Further I am pretty careful about what I eat so it isn't from that either. Anyone else experience this or heard of it before? My thinking that this is being caused by the machine has come about thru process of elimination (no pun intended!). So now what do I do? Also seems that lying down without the machine, or crying, stuffs my nose up totally. What is that about??? Clear up one problem and a whole lot of others develop... I am not a happy camper! Looking forward to your responses. Thanks!

It is called aerophagia. Many of us get it at some point during our treatment. I got it early on along with aching back and ribs. Your body will adapt after a few weeks ... give it some time. Another issue that some have is that aerophagia may be indicating undiagnosed GERD (acid reflux) issues. If it continues, you may need to see your doc and get checked out for that. Not give up your treatment though ... you may be able to relieve some of it by using an APAP or BiPAP machine.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I don't have the hunger, but I do have the burping / passing gas issue - aerophagia. I found that the problem is less when sleeping on my back all night. I get it really bad if I sleep on my side at any time. I can pass most of the air if I roll over on my stomach for about 10-15 minutes before I get up in the morning. Just my little bit of experience. Hope this helps.lindyjoy wrote:... Am experiencing burping, gassy stomach, and strong hunger type feelings in my stomach that are not from my absent gallbladder.
