Post by silver123 » Mon Nov 03, 2008 4:12 pm

Check this out! ResMed adapted the Swift LT to fit women better....now let's hope it does!

Interesting, eh?At least they are finally talking specifically to this growing segment of their market.

This is what I got from DME. Knowing nothing else, I like it.

The gal who outfitted me was really excited. It comes in a pretty light blue bag.

Well, if you come across another blue bag, I'd like to get one.
I have a blue cpap, a blue mask, blue hoses, a blue bedspread, and a blue car (no joke).
Might as well get rid of that charcoal bag they gave me.
(someone said our whole state was turning blue.)

Guess it goes without saying, but I'm hoping that someone who has used both LT's will do careful comparative measurements and report any differences beyond the color blue.

Interesting. Where do the vents exhaust? I'm contemplating a new style of mask so I'm not blowing air down the BF's neck all night.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I just wrote to cpap.com. They replied that they are working on getting this mask into stock, and to keep watch on the website.

Cheers,
B

It vents straight off the front - right below the pillow.

My DME told me the mask differed in that it comes with XS, S and M pillows better suited to smaller noses and faces. Although she only sent one pillow home. I think I've been ripped off.

That's typically how DME's operate. Call up and demand the other two pillows. Tell her your insurance paid for three pillows and you want all three.

Good luck!

Too bad you can't get 3 pillows in the ONE size that fits ...
I just got the lt for HEr from CPAp.com. Only difference is the XS pillow and the color, other than that it is just like my swift lt not-for-her

just ordered one from dme, actually she suggested it, because I was complaining that Opus's head gear just doesn't fit my head. she said LT for Her has smaller headgear. I really hope it is or at least can be adjusted a lot because getting headgear to fit is one of my biggest problems with masks/pillows etc. I'll get it next week, let you know...
