Hi all,
I have been trying masks since late September. I hated the Ultra Mirage because of it's bulk and the fact I mouth breathed. Tried very hard with a Liberty for three weeks and could not get consistency in fit and it hurt my upper lip so much.
DME gave me a hybrid yeaterday. I liked it a lot - better fit and more fir options than the liberty. I did not think I had ay significant leaks. This morning I checked and found I had a 1.6L/min leak rate - and my actual pressure supplied was 7 vs 9. With the liberty I would get about a 0.3 L/min. leak number. My ResMed S8 has mask offsets, and I used the one for the full fask mask.
Here is my question - does the Hybrid allow more passive air loss than other masks, especially the Liberty? The leak chart supplied with the mask indicates a pretty high L/min loss. In addition the air seems to really pour out the exhaust ports. Any one else have any experience?
Thanks.

Re: First Night on Hybrid - Leak question with ResMed S8
There are a few versions of the Hybrid. The older versions (A,B,and C?) had very high vent flow rates while the newer version(s) will have a lower flow rate (they now call it "adaptive flow" or something like that). So if you got one of the older models, that may explain some of it.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Ditto what DreamStalker said.
The user's guide supplied with the first version of the Hybrid mask is marked Rev A. The vent chart shows well over 40 lpm at 10 cm.
The manual for the current shell of mine is marked Rev B. The vent chart shows under 40 lpm at 10 cm.
The manufacturer revised the vent holes so that they are smaller. The only difference I can see in the shells is the size of the vent ports.
If you have Rev A, I recommend calling the manufacturer and asking them to replace it gratis. I have found them very good to work with.
Regards,

Snoringpastor, you have found one great mask. After 25 masks,
I 've stuck with the Hybrid the longest and keep going back to it when I try something "new" because it's just the best. Good Luck with it.
