Hi Craig,

The Smartcard has a capacity of 32 kilobytes.
The way it stores data is quite sophisticated.
I read the content of the card once a week and then delete.
It surely has space for one week's data.

I will come with more details within a couple of days.

Regards
Sandor

I check my results daily. Here's an interesting post by WillSucceed addressing this very issue:

Using the software

Personally, I use a few different masks so am interested in determining the efficacy of the treatment with each one. I guess it's really just a matter of personal preference. Initially I thought I would only take a look at the data while I conducted self-titration experiments over the course of a few weeks to determine my optimum pressure (in CPAP mode) or pressure range (in APAP mode) with the least resultant events. But once that process was complete, I got hooked on knowing what happened every night. Rumor has it, this qualifies me for geekhood. But of course I'm not nearly as big a geek as WillSucceed or rested gal!!!!!!!!!

I have had the software for a week and use it every day so my memory of the night is fresh and I can correlate the results with how I feel. When that become less important, I'll probably change to once per week.

Craig,

According to the Derek's review on the CPAP.com website: "Respironics states that the card can store 6 - 9 months of compliance data and 7-9 days of detailed sleep data. I have seen reports that users have seen 10 -12 days of detailed data. When the card is filled, the oldest data is lost as new data is stored."

I download my data every morning.

Hope that answers some of your questions.
