CAN'T GET MASK TO QUIT LEAKING CAN'T SLEEP W/IT CAN'T W/O IT

GOT THIS NEW RES MED S8 WITH MIRAGE QUATTRO MASK. HAVE TWO SIZES LG MED EVERY TIME MY MACHINE GETS TO FULL PRESSURE MY MASK STARTS TO LEAK REAL BAD AND ALARM STARTS TO GO OFF.IF I PULL THE MASK REAL TIGHT I WAKE WITH SORE NECK AND FACE.THE PRESURE IS VERY HIGH ON MY MACHINE SPONT 25.0-29.0 SOMEBODY PLZ HELP!!!!!!!

Sounds like maybe the mask is not put together correctly and is leaking? Have you had to disassemble the mask?

Try adjusting your mask BEFORE time for sleep and at FULL pressure while laying down. When laying down your face will change shapes.

YEA EVERY WILL FIT GOOD WHEN I LIE DOWN. THEN I GOT RAMP SET FOR 30 MIN. BUT STARTS LEAKING WHEN PRESURE STARTS GET HIGH AND MAKES MY CHEEKS PUFF OUT AND STARTS LEAKING AROUND MASK ON CHEECKS SEEMS LIKE IT NEEDS TO BE TIGHTER

I use the same mask and have the same problem when the pressure gets above about 10.0 I can get it to stop by tightening my mask more but the rim of my nose is sore the next day. I tried the nasal pillows and found I breathed through my mouth as the night went on so went to the full mask. I wish I could solve the leaking problem too.

Try adjusting the knob for the forehead adjustment. I'm at 19 now (was 25),and it probably took me a couple weeks to adjust things to stop the leaks.

What I did (YMMV):

Snug the lower straps
upper straps slight tension
adjust the angle knob to remove some of the bridge of the nose pressure

It seems to work pretty well, but, as I said, it took some time to get there.
