but I promise I'll give you my report card in the morning miss - should I bring you an apple as well?
That would be very nice of you, sir, bringing me an apple; however, I think since it would be coming from the UK, it may not be in great shape when it gets here .
Please keep your promise and let me know how tonight goes. You know I am interested.

And WAF:
At least your wife appreciates you. I am married myself for what will be 25 years this October and it's nice to have a spouse who still thinks you're special after all these years. I am blessed to be in that situation myself. But feel free to use this thread to make her jealous if you want. Hey, you never know what spice it might add to tonight...

Doctored pic? Not true. I don't belive I said that.

It was 12 months and 20 pounds ago though. I didn't know it at the time, but I was quite sick and getting sicker including sever internal bleeding at the time that pic was taken. When the docs discovered that they put me on 2 strong antibiotics and I reacted badly to one, eventually collapsing. I was out of it for a bit and have a week-long hole in my memory from that time.

I'm determined to shed the 20 I've gained since then and another 10-15 (or more!) as well. If I can get active and build some muscles while melting the fat off I look pretty good around 190! I'll make all the ladies swoon!

GOOD GRIEF!!!

I'm gonna try to get this thread back on track.

Spring,

Welcome to the world of CPAP and this (slightly wacky at times) forum.
From what you've survived so far, this should be a "piece of cake". And, it will get better.
If the pressure is too much for you, you might ask them to set it to a lower setting and then work up from there as you become more accustomed to it and if the lower setting still isn't enough. If your machine has CFLEX, maybe they or you can select a different setting.

Best of luck.

Den

(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

Lisa, not sure why your avatar didn't "come to life". Was it no more than 80x80? Did you click "Submit" after doing the "Browse" to upload from your machine?

If anything were ever to happen to my wife (God forbid!) after I get over the total devastation (she's my best friend!) I know where to go when it is time for me to rejoin the social circle. Forget about match.com; I'd just post here on cpaptalk.com!

BTW, I (and some friends) view being a geek as a state of mind that isn't really visible. It entails a fascination bordering on obsession with all things technical, esp. but not exclusively high-tech. This spring I did an engine rebuild on one of my 2 Miatas, having the cylinders bored out slightly, crankshaft turned, flywheel refaced and lightened. Mechanical geekiness.

When woodworking I setup my machinery with tolerances measured in 1,000's of an inch. WoodGeek!

Among other things this weekend I worked on editting some videos to be written to DVD complete with menus. This was on a computer I spec'd and assembled myself. Computer geek!

Geek is good. I'm proud to be a geek.
