Finally got an update!

Post by carlitguy » Tue Oct 28, 2008 12:02 pm

I have been on APAP for over 2 years and while I did get a pressure report a few months after I got my machine I have not had one since.
The following are my recent stats.
Current pressure set 9 to 15.5.
My ramp is 20 minutes at 4.0
My compliance is 6 hours 21 minutes. I know it is about 7 hours but when i awake and have a bathroom break I don't put the mask on for the last half hour. I do fall back asleep and I di dream and then the alarm goes off.
My average pressure was 9.9 with a minimum of 8.1 and a max of 13.4
Low pressure 8.2 with 4 and 9.0
High pressure 13.7 with 9 and 16.
Pressure efficient 90% of the time being 13.
For APAP what should my pressure and ramp be set at?
When I use my travel CPAP what should my pressure and ramp be set at?
I am using a Comfort Gel Nasal mask with very little leakage. Oops! How would i know - I am asleep!
Many thanks for your replys!

How effective is your therapy with those pressures? Any AHI, AI and HI data to share?

It will be hard for anyone to make recommendations without knowing how effective your therapy is with the current machine settings.

Oops! They only gave me a compliance report and my pressures report.
I guess it is back to them.
In january when they did a sleep study for updating their records the numbers were very similar.
I personally feel pretty good. My wife rarely complains of leakage. I have to confess I do yawn sometimes during the day but I would say my energy level is definitly up over a year ago.
The only reason I did get a report was that I am going on holidays and thought that if I have to adjust anything it might be a good time.

I'm not big at looking at any data. I've had my contraption for 2 months and I'm stuck with it for years, so data is the least of my wants, or worries.
