Newb BiPAP Readings...

Post by LA157M3 » Fri Oct 17, 2008 8:09 pm

Checking my Respironics BiPAP Auto M-Series after 2 nights, it shows the following numbers:

Blower Hours - 31:36
Therapy Usage: 6:36 average
Sessions: 2
Pressure: 90%
CmH20: 16.5/11.0
System Leak: 40.5 L/min
AHI: 2.7
Compliance Check: 57605
Therapy Hours: 13.2

Anyone able to quickly tell off the top of their head if these are acceptable numbers or not after 2 nights?

For a reference base my sleep study numbers are:

Prior to CPAP, there were 212 obstructive apneas, 35 obstructive hypopneas, 1 respiratory effort-related arousal for an AHI of 131.7 per hour and RDI of 132.3 per hour

I don't know about the numbers, but my first two nights on BiPAP have been wonderful, completely restful, and completely uninterrupted sleep! This thing is magic!

Beautiful! Nice low AHI and leak rate. Looks like you and the machine are doing great together.
