Does anyone have any experience traveling to/in Saudi Arabia with a CPAP machine?
I have traveled extensively in Asia with my machine and experienced no problems - India, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and China. Was asked what it was only once in China, told them it was for snoring, they say OK (no inspection at all) all other times it simply goes through X-ray with no questions asked. No problems in Europe. Saudi Arabia will be a first time though, so wondering if anyone has had any problems.

It has been about 20 years since I was in Saudi Arabia, but I doubt that you will have a problem with a CPAP machine. The level of medical care is very high in Saudi Arabia and I would imagine that Saudis carry them when they fly.
I had a problem when entering the country because I had forgotten that I had put a tiny tube of toothpaste in my shirt pocket. The metal detector kept going off; they did not have a hand scanner and they just had me go through the machine over and over until I found the toothpaste tube. When leaving the country, an airport security guard hand searched my attache case; and the guard, who was carrying an M-16, did not know what a Norelco Triple Header shaver was. He pushed the button that opened up the heads and spilled beard powder all over his podium; he just tossed the razor back in my case, stamped my boarding pass, and handed the still open case to me -- he did not appear to be very happy.

Its been about 25 years since I've been to Saudi but you should have no problem, just don't carry a bible with you.
