Ever have a good night's sleep...

Post by zaquon » Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:08 pm

Only to have it ruined by 2 hours of really bad sleep?

Saturday night I went to bed at about 1am. I woke up at about 6am and checked my AHI. It was in the normal range I'd been experiencing -- AI<1 and HI at 3 or 4. I felt fine, but not rested enough to get up.

I slept until 10 and felt like absolute crap! I uploaded my data and found I had more than 10 apneas between the hours of 8 and 10 and hypos all over the place. It was like seeing the graphs for 2 different people. My brain fog came back, I was cranky, and my anxiety was back in full force. There was very little leak during this period as well. I really can't attribute the difference to anything.

Most other nights I'm having just enough full apneas to make me a little uncomfortable. Over 1 an hour and I can feel it. In general I have the most hypos in the late morning hours, but a flurry of apneas is unusual and worrisome.

Has this happened to anyone else. Any ideas what I can do?
