My Cpap Results

Post by outrun » Thu Oct 02, 2008 8:45 pm

Well I had a topic of should I have bought it well now here are the results that I am getting.

30th Press 8.8 ? What does that mean? I have it set at 10
Leak .10
AHI: 19.0
AI: 8.5
HI: 10.5

October 1st Press 9.6 I raised it from 10 to 11.
Leak .08
AHI: 14.8
AI: 3.0
HI: 11.8

So, what do I do now? Keep bumping the pressure up? Also what does press mean? If I take hit stop during the night to get up and stuff that does that effect the results?

Thanks for all the info.

EPR on a Resmed causes a pressure drop every time you exhale. The reported pressure on the LCD is an average of your inhale pressure and your exhale pressure.

Please add your profile to show your hardware -it would make things easier for all of us.

From last night. Press 9.4 Leak .04 AHI 14.4 AI 7.6 HI 6.8.

I only go 5 hours sleep last night and maybe only used it 3 or 4 of the 5 hours and my results look worse than the nights before.

Try to resist the urge to fiddle with the settings too often to achieve results... believe me, I'm still struggling with that one myself.

Record some data for a week and then you have something better to work with... rather than making adjustments based on one or two nights worth of results.
