I bought a Resmed Elite with humidifier, mask, carrying case. Is this a good unit?

Thanks, Jason
SORRY to whack our quote so much.............. -BUT- I was self employed most of my life & only insurance I had was covered by my wife that was a nurse ...
< More than needed?>
I have talked with a few friends that are self employed --- One has been looking at getting insurance but had a sleep study done after his first quote from a company, then when he called the insurance rep back in he was told the COST would double because he had the study NOT a SCRIPT or even a titration test? NOT RIGHT......
His plan is like your get a system and do it himself.................. !!! & I'll be glad to help him!!
BERT
GOOD LUCK and keep using this forum and ask QUESTIONS -- It's your HEALTH & you need to take care of it!

I appreciate everyone's info. So here is an update. I have used it 4 nights now but the first 2 nights I didn't write down the info. But the last 2 nights I have and here is what I have.
30th Press 8.8 ? What does that mean? I have it set at 10
Leak .10
AHI: 19.0
AI: 8.5
HI: 10.5
October 1st Press 9.6 I raised it from 10 to 11.
Leak .08
AHI: 14.8
AI: 3.0
HI: 11.8
So, what do I do now? Keep bumping the pressure up? Also what does press mean? If I take hit stop during the night to get up and stuff that does that effect the results?
Thanks for all the info.

I have found that if you apply for medical insurance and you acknowledge that you have apnea you will be turned down. So I guess what they are telling you is that you need to lie or do without insurance. I think I'm ready for universal health insurance. The current 'system' only works for those who don't need it, until they do need it. Until then, do it yourself only makes sense. At least you don't pay for what you don't get.
