Resmed Rescan 3.5

Looks like it's finally avail at another U.S. online supplier for $175.00. Seems kind of pricey. Does not include card reader. Anyone else find it for less? I see our host still doesn't offer it.

I assume you've seen this at thecpapshop.
Found it there on Google after seeing your post.
I've never dealt with them.
But they list the SKU as 31068; that's the ResMed part number for the old AutoScan software. ResScan is 31301.
And their photo, enlarged, looks like it says 3.2 or 3.3.
I don't see a logo on their site indicating that they're a ResMed Authorized Internet seller, so they may really have 3.5.

thanks for the reply. Yes that is the distributor I found. I guess I should email or call to ascertain whether this is in fact rescan 3.5.

yea....Does anyone know where to get this software. All of my computers have vista. I know where to get the reader but its useless without the software.

Call John at cpapworksllc.com. Card reader is @ 75usd and 3.5 is VERY reasonable.

Any word on if that site had the valid version of the software?
I will get my card reader and card today but have been unable to find a valid place to get the software (I'm also using only vista machines really).
I cant even seem to find a 3.4 version to get (have an S8 so I need 3.4+ and can load a spare computer with xp if needed)

If you have an S8 and NOT an S8 II, plain ole AutoScan 5.7 will do the job AND w/AutoScan 5.7 you can export to a spreadsheet such as Excel which you can NOT w/ResScan 3.4 or 3.5. There's a LOT of good to be said for AutoScan 5.7 over ResScan 3.4 and 3.5. Its just that AutoScan does not and can not recognize the S8 IIs.

Ok, I will look for that also, but was not having luck last night also (though it wont work with Vista right? will need to load a machine with xp to make it work?).

Any good leads where to get Autoscan 5.7? The links I found all say that they are now shipping resscan 3.3 instead.

ResScan 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 will work w/the S8s as well. Vista is the problem for any but the 3.5 software.

I am looking for the software ResScan 3.5 for Vista. I checked the web site listed above but looks expensive. I will email them to confirm it is ResScan 3.5 and not 3.3 or 3.4.

Does anyone know where to get the software (ResScan 3.5) a little cheaper?

Just got my equipment and am low on funds.

An S8 Compact does not capture an efficacy data, so the software won't do anything for you.

Could someone email me or PM me regarding what I need to read my own data. I have the ResMed S8 Autoset II. What software do I need (I have both a vista and XP machine) and what cardreader. Do I just use the smartcard that was supplied with my unit (intended to download and give to the lab) or do I get my own card? Those are obviously newbie questions, but I would like an answer.
What kind of data can I expect to download? Thanks.
