Hello, ladies and germs! I sincerely hope that everyone is doing well.
I appreciate that after making a couple of posts several weeks ago, I seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth. Life got hectic, to say the least!
I started off using the Elite II for my trial period, and to this day I am still using it (though when time comes to buy the machine, they're going to send me home with the Elite I). I had a mask that covered my nose only, but it turned out that I was breathing through my mouth, and so we switched to a face mask. Because of the high setting (16), there were many leaks. Starting tonight, I am going to try using a newer mask, apparently called the "ComfortGel Full". So, we'll see?
But the physician/sleep technician also suggested that I actually reduce the pressure from 16 to 13. He thinks that perhaps they actually overreacted and put the setting too high, which he claimed can actually cause more leaks than I would normally have. Anyhow, that more or less brings us up to speed.
My question is: How do I turn the setting down from 16 to 13? I was told that I can do it myself, and I would like to be able to do it tonight instead of waiting till I can get a chance to return to the actual "Vital Aire" business office.
Thanks in advance!
