I don't have a FFM recommendation, but I do have a suggestion. How about contacting your insurance company and see which Durable Medical Equipment companies they contract with. Then call those DME's to see if any them will rent masks or give you loaners to try to see what is comfortable for you. You can waste a lot of money trying to find the right mask. If you can cut down on the cost by narrowing down the choices, it will be a lot easier for you.
I'm glad you decided to give it another try. I wish you all the success in the world.
Good luck!

Yes, I would like you to try out the Respironics Comfort Gel full face mask, the Mirage Liberty Full face mask with nasal pillows, and the Hybrid full face mask. I have tried the first two and awaiting the Hybrid. I have been working with my DME and have a 14 day trial period with each without having to buy until I find the one that works for me.
My point is start out with one, and unless you fall in love with it, then keep trying. I am still trying and like both the first masks I've tried, but have found they are soooo different that I need to keep looking for the 'needle in the haystack'.
What works for me, may not work for you. What works for all of the others, may not work for you. Only you can find the right one that works for you. But to get started, try the ones above or another that someone might mention. JUST GET IT DONE!!!!!!!! I am in my 30's (actually 38) and I want to live to be 98 so I am willing to be a 'hoser' because it will help me get there!!!!!!

Someone asked about the surgery my doctor recommended, and yes, it is the UPPP. From the little I've read, doctors really recommend giving the cpap a really good effort because it is 100% effective.
Thanks for the full face mask recommendations. I forgot that I actually have insurance now, and that I can contact a dme. I'll let you know how it goes. This forum is actually where I got the advice last year on what machine to buy because my doctor had no idea, and I hand no insurance at the time, so there was no other way to get advice. I had a different user name at the time. Thanks everyone!

Resmed UltraMirage FF mask - it seems to do a great job for so many people who've tried other things first (including me), and is also very sturdily made, unlike some others. Mine just keeps going and going!

Been using same machine as you for a few months and HATE it also. For two years a used another machine and got used to it quickly. The M series machine is NOISY, the auto exhale feature is ANNOYING and LOUD and the swift LT doesnt stay in place. I can't sleep at all if I keep it on all night. Don't blame you one bit for wanting to get rid of it. I asked for a smaller, quieter unit, and am deeply disapointed.

Didn't they give you a loaner to try? I was given one for a month, but went and bought my own after a week. I think a big part of it is having a positive outlook. If you say to yourself that it WILL work, it WILL help, it's a good bet you will work through any initial discomfort etc.
