Now that we are home again and I had my papcap pkg in my mail box upon return and was too tired that night to get it right, I did use last night. First off I will start by saying that it was indeed very comfortable. My apnea's did start to get back to a more normal lower, under 5 number. That was the same last night. Second... a biggie..... I for the life of me could figure out how it went together! It took me forever to figure out just what the "back strap" was? Much more instruction is needed on my part to make sure I have it even somewhat rightly configured. The pics I have seen just don't do it for me. I even went to the pur-sleep sight for a detailed set of instructions and pictures with no luck. 3rd was the hook-ups to the masks... I have lots of velcro parts left over, am I supposed to? I don't want to sound like an ignoramous and really am not but .. I know when I need to ask someone for help!
Thanks to anyone not laughing out there!!
PapCap- first night.

Well, I have an m-series also, but I have C-flex only, but I'm just using mine temporarily until my Resmed Autoset comes in (if it ever does - I've been waiting 2 weeks tomorrow). I'm not quite sure if I follow what your trouble is, however.
I was hoping you were from Missouri, because they always say that you have to show them. Then I was going to invite you to over here to Virginia, and I would show you. Of course, Virginia is for lovers, and then you would probably say, "show me" and that would be great too.
Seriously, I think the m-series if fairly easy to use. You may be talking about the "black brick thing". Just plug in the wire that attaches to it to an outlet and you're all set. The hose fits in the back, so just attach your mask to the other end, fill up your humidifier about half way and hit the on button. (of course, you should set the pressure and other settings according to your prescribed data from the sleep study)
This probably was no help at all. Just what my students used to say when I gave them an explanation.
See ya,
Jay

I have that same mask and headgear, and I'm a newbie too. However, I have used it quite successfully. What part are you having trouble with? Mine is all one piece. The only parts you have to slide on are the two black plastic parts with little "balls" on the ends that attach to the actual mask. All of the velcro is already at the ends of the headgear and you just slip them through 4 different places on the mask and on the forehead piece. Am I misunderstanding which mask you have?
