flexfit 431 serious bruising along cheekbone

Hi, wasn't sure whether to start a new thread. I have been using cpap for about 1 1/2 weeks. I started with a fp nasal mask, but was breathing through my mouth too much, even with a chin strap. Went back in to my DME, they have a very small amount of masks to try. They set me up with a FP431 full face mask, the first night it seemed fine until in the morning when I had real red area around the permimeter where the mask fits. I loosend it as much as I could without feeling leaks and this morning I am bruised in a vertical line along the cheekbone area. If I loosen it any more air just flows out of it. Can anyone suggest another full face mask that I might try. I will have to buy it or look on cpap auction. I have deep close set eyes and full high cheekbones, so that mask leaks at the eyes, so when I tighten the top to stop that, then the edges dig into the sides of my face. I did like the fact that the 431 fits under the chin. Is the fp432 more comfortable than the 431? Anyone know. I know it is subjective, just don't know what to try next, my DME in this small town just doesn't keep much in stock. Thanks for any advice you can give.

I tried both the 431 and 432 at the DME and I think the 432 is much more comfortable. It might be worth a try. Or the Resmed Liberty or the Hybrid since they don't go on your cheeks at all. I tried the Liberty for a week, but just didn't like the nose pillows.

If you switch to the 432, you'll probably need a larger size than the 431. At least I did when trying them out....
