Recently, I switched back to PB425e and noticed that .2 -.3 of my AHI is almost always Apnea/CA. But when I was using my Respironics BIPAP, maybe 1 Non-Responsive event a month. When I had my sleep study about 5 years ago, it didn't show any centrals but I also didn't reach REM sleep either.
Are they equal measures? Does the bipap do a better job of addressing these?
Even though I'm doing well with AHI of 1.0 to 2.0, I can't help wondering if I can do just a little better.
Respironics Non-Responsive Apnea = SilverLining Apnea/CA?

The Puritan Bennett bi-level machine is the 425.
The Puritan Bennett auto (self adjusting) machine is the 420e.
PB's A/Ca cannot be compared to Respironics' NR. It's like comparing oranges to cucumbers....

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Thanks Ozij for replying. Sorry, I messed up my model numbers. I do have a Puritan Bennett 420e and a Respironics Auto Bipap with Biflex with software for both.
I just thought that they were both some type of event that the machines could not treat. Is this not true? Does the PB 420e treat A/Ca's?
