Bests masks for side sleeping?

Post by HookEarMatt » Wed Jul 30, 2008 6:19 am

Hey Folks,

The last couple of weeks have been hellish for me. After having bad mouth leaking (which my pulmonary doc says isn't really an issue) I tried taping my mouth with surgical tape. It worked, but compliance with CPAP was even less then without the tape. The last week or two I havent even been doing 2 or 3 hours with the mask and end up ripping it off in my sleep. I'm thinking I had it to tight, but when its loose I either mouth breath or it leaks like a seive. I use the flexi fit nasal pillows...does anyone have suggestions for a good side sleeping mask? I've got Prompt Care coming to my place next week with some other masks to try and am curious to see if they bring me anything anyone here reccomends.

Thanks for the help as always everyone...I need to get soem sleep. This has been the week from hell for me.
