Where to buy a new mask?????

Post by curleycat » Sun Jul 27, 2008 5:37 pm

I have a question, does anyone have any links to a good place to buy a full face mask? I do not have insurance so i will have to pay for it. I have tried cpap auction but i keep getting out bid, i bid on one 6 times and every time it said i was out bid, I need to get something soon. Mine broke last night so i will have to go back to a nasel one tonight and i am a mouth breather.
Thank for any advice........

I'm also self-pay, and I have great luck with cpapauction.com, when I can afford to wait for a good deal.

I second cpap.com. Free shipping over $100 and you can pay for next day delivery if you want it.

If you have to pay for it, you want to get the best price possible.

Auctions (especially ebay) are frustrating and irritating. And you're never sure what you are getting (if anything!) when buying from some unknown private party.

That's what I do. And they price match.

Go to google advanced search. Enter some info, e.g., quattro mask. It will bring up lots of links. Go to some/many of them. Make a note of the site name and the lowest price. Then go to cpap.com and check their price. Ask them to price match if they're not already lower.

curley cat- if you have a mask to trade, you might have some success with the Mask Roulette:

viewtopic/t19546/Play-MASK-ROULETTE-Giv ... -mask.html

Basic idea is that you trade a mask with someone else.. only shipping involved... and of course you have to find the mask you want and will trade you for the mask that you're offering.

Note that you don't have to buy the WHOLE mask if just one part broke... what's the mask, and what's the part that broke?
