Sleep apnea may trigger nighttime heart attack - Yahoo! News
Hello,
We were discussing that in another thread below. But we should keep in mind that: The relationship between two variables doesn’t necessarily imply any causal relationship between them. (I learned this in Stat 01) I’ve found, from reading articles on OSA, that many factors that contribute to one’s vulnerability toward a heart attack, such as weight, smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes, physical inactivity, genetic predisposition, etc. are the same as those with OSA. So sleep disorders, per se, don’t necessarily mean the odds are increased for heart attacks. That has never been proven conclusively.
