Now as i hvae to drive on this trip i'm looking for a temp treatment for OSA,

It dosnet have to be 100% as long as i have a good enough sleep to fall asleep at the wheel, feeling tired i can deal with falling asleep at the wheel i cant for obv reason

What cpap do you have? Does it have a 12V jack on the back? IE the goodnight 420. Just buy a jack at radio shack and run it off of a 12 v battery. A typical trooling motor battery will last for weeks and costs about $50.

Also small 12v batts that run fence chargers and electronice can be had for under $20. We really need to know which brand of cpap to go further with this.

I have an inverter I just plug into the cigarette lighter. I use the humidifier in passover mode (ie off) to reduce power requirement.

So the jumpstarter wasn't cost effective? $100 USD is too much for a multi-purpose unit? I doubt you're going to find a solution for much less...
