When I received my bill from my DME I noticed that they charged my insurance company for a FF mask plus an additional amount for the headgear? Same with a nasal mask plus additionally for the headgear. Is this a normal practice? Don't most masks come with them? I know the ones I see online always do unless your buying a replacement. I should also add that the FF mask was a resmed mirage that was charged to almost $400.00 dollars plus another $150 or so for the headgear and the nasal to almost $275 dollars plus $125 for the headgear. That's just crazy in my opinion! I'm glad I only pay 20% of that but still. No wonder insurance costs are through the roof!

That's pretty much normal for a brick and mortar DME, charging for every little piece and not giving you all of the pieces/manuals that you would get if you bought it online.
