Does one night.....

Post by carbonman » Fri Jun 27, 2008 7:13 am

a hose head make????

....probably not.
My first night w/The Machine.
Pretty strange to start. I felt like I was in a reverse
universe. It was the opposite of drowning. Too much
air. I was fighting back against the machine to breathe out.
I slowly started to relax and after a few hours got
in sync. My nose is a bit tender this am.

I don't know that I slept anymore than has been the norm,
but I do feel abit better. By this am, I did feel much
more comfortable w/the whole setup.

So, the first step in the journey.
I feel very positive after my first night.
I think it is just going to get easier and the
benefits will come.

Yes for some lucky ones like me.

Longer for most, and yet longer still or never
for those less fortunate.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Last night was my first night too. It took me a long time to fall asleep, and I feel like I didn't actually sleep very much. But I do feel OK this morning. The wife says I slept like a rock. Who knows?

Good luck with your treatment! I'm sure after a couple of weeks it will seem like nothing.

Good for you, Carbonman and EricT!!

It is an alternate universe, so your perception is right on the money! What I have found is that I now wake up several times a night to reposition myself, my mask, and my hose. It's kind of an automatic thing now. But I go right back to sleep, and know that I'm getting good quality sleep until the next reposition cycle. It sure beats waking up gasping for air.

Keep posting your questions as they arise, so that your therapy stays on track. Welcome to Hose-Head-Land! (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...)

Take Care,
Cathy

We are on the same page. Same experience here.
All the best to you too.

You are doing very well. Soon it will become just part of your life. When that happens is different for everyone. It's worth it to feel better and be healthier!
