help selecting a cpap

You certainly should get one that is data capable. Resmed has some good ones. Respironics has good ones and there are several others out there. Check on cpap.com to get an idea of what is available. An auto certainly would be the very best since it has so many options.
I would also suggest the Fisher & Paykel stand alone 150 heated humdifier. It works with virtually every machine and is the best humdifier out there for my money. Trouble is, you will probably get a better deal on a machine if you buy it with an integrated humidfier. I bought a Remstar APAP with A-Flex (exhalation relief- some Resmed machines have exhalation relief as well) and a Fisher & Paykel humdifier form cpap.com in February. It's been great.
