Opus 360 Lab Ratting?

Post by Robbie » Mon Jun 02, 2008 2:02 pm

I've been using the Opus 360 for 3 months now. My first mask w/pillows - which I like a lot. The problem is that while the mask fits nicely when I first lay down, the headgear doesn't stay in place very well during the night- which leads to leaks eventually. Specifically, I seem to have problems with the strap that goes around the back of my head - it creepss up and eventually off.

I'm making a trip to the fabric store this evening to look for lab ratting inspiration, but in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone had done any mods to their Opus 360 thhat they'd like to share.

Fix

Post by ufo13 » Mon Jun 02, 2008 3:03 pm

Robbie:

Click on the search button at the top of the web-site, and enter ufo13 in the "authors" box-that should bring up an old post of mine called "Tips for Swift users". Read that fix and it should also work well for your opus! Many of us use this fix for the Swift and have found it not only keeps the back strap from riding up, but also stablizes the interface in question!
Hope this helps you!

All the best,

Steve,

Steve,

I read your post. Do I understand that your solution involved using the "loopy" part of the velcro - facing in towards teh head - and friction - to keep the back strap from riding up?
