Chin strap rash

Hi there. I've been using a respironics deluxe chin strap for about a month but just recently I've developed a rash on the underside of my chin, right where the cup is. Has anyone else experienced this? Will washing the strap help solve this problem? Thanks.

Possibly. Or you might be experiencing a reaction to the fabric. I try to wash mine at least once a week. I put it in a mesh lingerie bag and pop it in the washer with the rest of the clothes.

Hang to dry. Do not put in dryer.

I'm wearing the CPAP.com "knockoff" version of that chinstrap. You might try the cheaper version - might work better.
