When did the auction close? I mean when did the auction you won end?

Maybe your account was cancelled on the auction. Mine was for returning an item that failed and getting a refund. Email them and ask is the easiest way.

Stealing the thread a bit, but have never found an item on the site which people are prepared to post outside USA, although an email response from the auction site said it was up to the seller.
As cpap prices in Australia are about 3 or 4 times more expensive than the USA, may be wise for some sellers to indicate they would post to Aus. I think USPs cost is about $60 which would still mean great prices for people in Aus.

I too have found cpapauction a tad confusing when it comes to contacting the seller. But to be fair, they have never had problems contacting me.

Good luck

I have never had any problems, when I win and auction, as lvwildcat said, I always receive an email from the auction site with all info on it. And when I sell, I always contact my buyer by email personally. Why would they cancel your account Sthnreb for returning an item that failed?

Check your spam folder as my cpapauction emails go in my spam folder. I have my security set high on my email as I got tired of all the spam, but know to scan the folder before actually deleting the emails.

cpap auction

Post by Hawthorne » Thu May 22, 2008 7:05 am

I live in Canada and have made several purchases on cpapauction.com with no problems at all --until the latest one. After I won, I was not contacted by the seller. I had to contact him several times to get invoiced. He never notified me that I had won, although the site said I did. I'm now trying to contact him because I have not yet received the item. I have emailed twice and asked him to tell me if and when it was shipped and no response. It is taking way longer to arrive than the other masks I purchased. If I don't hear from him or receive it soon I will contact the site and see what to do.
On auction sites, I think one has to be careful about the seller. I always read the feedback. In this case, it was a new seller and I took a chance. That may not have been wise but a seller has to start somewhere!

cpap auction

Dear RobertinTX,

I understand we have already emailed you the contact information for your seller, but here is some background information for future auctions.

At the close of each auction, we send an email to the buyer to confirm that the auction has been won, and we send one to the seller confirming that the item has sold. The emails also contain the email addresses of each auction partner. If you will check your email account, you should have your notifications, but be sure to also check your spam and bulk mail filters since the emails are automatically generated and that can be a red flag for some filters. Also, you can always contact the seller from the link on the listing page, even during an auction if you have questions.

Thanks for your participation in the marketplace.

Regards,
Becky Polk

Unfortunately, many ISP's filter what they think is junk and never tell you that you did not get the e-mail. Most will allow you to turn off this "feature" but it is usually on by default. Call your isp or visit their website to turn the spam filter off.
