I just read some stuff and I fit the profile. Acid reflux, air diverted to the gut from c pap . I have fornd if i sleep on my couch with the cpap it seems to work ok. I suspect that by my limiting my body to staying on its side i keep the soft tissue from totally plugging my wind pipe, I sure wish I could sleep in my bed. Any sugesstions?

1) It sounds like your pressure is not set correctly. You need a machine which records data to find out how well therapy is working for you.
2) I believe that you allude to aerophagia with "air diverted to gut" comment. Most effective solution I have found is APAP (automatic-CPAP). Again, that would be a different machine than the one you have now.
You could also go back to your doctor, and/or sleep lab and tell them your problems. Without knowing more though, it's hard to offer detailed advice. How long have you been on CPAP therapy? When were you diagnosed? Did you have a sleep study and what were the results? Are you renting your current machine, or do you "own" it?
I'm not asking to be nosey. The more information you can provide, the better advice you will get. Hope this helps a little.
