Facial lines

Post by formerobgyn » Mon May 12, 2008 5:58 pm

As many of us age, there is a loss of subcutaenous tissue leaving lines. I happen to have one on either side of my face, from upper nose to mouth, sometimes referred to as "smile lines". My Quatro mask (full face) lies directly on these lines and leaks occur. Has anyone tried botox to fill out the space and flatten the facial lines to help solve the mask problem?

I haven;t tried botox, but I have the lines and the Quattro, too..I hadn;t thought about the lines causing leaks...that is a thought for sure. I was TRYING to use good moisturizers to help with the wrinkles, but can;t use them at night anymore cause they say not to use any creams or anything with the masks. What;s a gal to do???? (I won't go the botox route.)

Wouldn't it be Restylane instead of Botox?
