Has anyone used those CPAP pillows and found them helpful?
I bought one and think it's a waste of money, too bad we couldn't try before buying. I don't do well even after 3 years and numerous masks, and have found no 'miracle' change in my well being, so had hoped that the pillow would help.
cheers

If you would like to PM me your email address, I'd be happy to send you my pattern for what I call a "pillow pal". I tried every pillow in the house, even bought a couple new ones, and still was frustrated, so I just came up with a little homemade pillow pal to throw on top of my favorite pillow.
Since it's homemade and I'm no seamstress, it's a pretty simple pattern, should be easy for someone who sews to whip together in about 10 minutes. It's got a curve to tuck your shoulder into, little sections to tuck under your forehead and chin, support for your cheek but clearance room for your mask. Can't hurt to try it. All you'll be out is a couple scraps of fabric and some stuffing from an old flat pillow for the middle.
If you don't know anyone who can sew it for you, one of our fellow forum members has offered to sew them and I can pass your email address on to her also if you let me know that's what you'd like to do.
Again, it's nothing fancy, but it sure made a difference for me, and it's free, so you can hardly go wrong to try it.
Peggy
P.S. I extend that offer to anyone reading this who is still searching for a comfortable way to accomodate all that pretty face gear.
